Dr. David Cowin, MD
Dr. David Cowin is a Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgery Specialist. He received his undergraduate degree at Dartmouth College. He completed his medical school at the University of Florida where he graduated with honors. He did his residency training in orthopedics at the University of Florida Department of Orthopedics. Following his residency, he spent a year in fellowship at the University of Arizona to sub-specialize in total joint replacement. Dr. Cowin is on staff at Advent Health and several outpatient surgery centers and has more than 19 years of diverse experiences, specializing in orthopedic surgery.
Dr. Cowin grew up in Central Florida. He currently spends his weekends watching his three children's soccer games and dance competitions with his father who is a retired Orthopedic Surgeon

Dr. Milad Alam, MD
Dr. Milad Alam completed his academic training and earned his Medical Degree from the University of California, San Diego, where he began his research and clinical career in spine surgery. He completed his internship and residency in orthopedic surgery at Jackson Memorial Hospital and the University of Miami Hospital and then completed a combined orthopedic and neurosurgical spine fellowship at the University of Southern California Spine Center with a focus on both non-surgical and surgical treatment options for adult neck and back spine conditions. He complimented his fellowship training as a visiting spine fellow at Bern University Hospital in Switzerland. Dr. Alam continues to exceed in the field and presents at major national spine conferences nationwide, as well as written multiple peer-reviewed journal articles about spine conditions and surgical techniques. He is interested and trained in new technologies including minimally invasive, robotic spine surgery, and artificial disc replacements, and is an active member of multiple professional societies, including the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, AOSpine, and the North American Spine Society.
He remains dedicated to working directly with patients in creating a customized non-surgical or surgical plan for their individual needs and lifestyles, as well as provide compassionate, courteous, and timely care combined with cutting-edge technology and surgical expertise.
Dr. Walter Jermakowicz, MD, PHD
Dr. Jermakowicz, MD, PhD, received his medical degree, as well as a Doctor of Philosophy in neuroscience, from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in 2012. He completed his residency in neurological surgery at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, the largest academic spine practice in North America.
He also completed a fellowship in stereotactic and functional neurosurgery at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. During his fellowship, he worked as an attending neurosurgeon at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee, focusing on treating disorders of the spine in veterans.
He is trained in both open and minimally invasive spine surgery, as well offering other treatment options including spinal cord stimulation and intrathecal drug delivery pumps.

Ankeet A. Choxi, MD
Dr. Choxi, MD, received his medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, TN. He completed his residency training in Anesthesiology at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in Miami, FL. Additionally, Dr. Choxi completed a fellowship in Interventional Pain Management at New York University (NYU)—Langone Health Systems in New York, NY.
Dr. Choxi specializes in the treatment of both acute and chronic pain with special interests in the treatment of spine and joint pain. He is trained in many different treatment modalities, including minimally invasive procedures to reduce and cure pain symptoms. Dr. Choxi focuses on interventional procedures in order to restore his patient’s function and mobility quickly—and to help his patients avoid prescription pain medications.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Choxi also has a strong clinical research background. He has authored and published numerous research articles in the fields of pain management, anesthesiology, neurosurgery, and orthopedic surgery. Dr. Choxi continues to pursue research projects to advance the field of pain management. With his strong research background, Dr. Choxi can offer his patients the most up-to-date, evidence-based medical care and treatments.
In his free time, Dr. Choxi enjoys sailing, traveling, cooking, playing golf and tennis, and is a huge sports fan. He is also always looking for a good book recommendation, although chances are, he will never finish it.

Dr. Stefan Prada, MD
Dr. Stefan Prada graduated Magna Cum Laude from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with his Bachelor's Degree in Biology. He went on to receive his Doctorate of Medicine from Albany Medical College in Albany, New York. After completing his surgical internship at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, he began his orthopedic residency at the University of Arkansas in Little Rock. He then served in the U.S. Navy as a physician. After 9 years of dedicated service he relocated to Florida in 2007 and joined Laser Spine Institute. His many achievements include numerous research publications, Decoration of the Joint Meritorious Unit Award from the United States Naval Forces, among many other Military's Decorations, and First Prize for the Outstanding Research Project from the 14th Annual Arkansas Orthopedic Forum.
Dr. Prada and his wife Donia, who is a nurse, along with their three children; Angelina, Isabella, and Nicholas enjoy boating, jet skiing, and other water sports.

Dr. Gerald Mastaw, MD
Dr. Gerald (Jerry) Mastaw, is an interventional pain management physician. He graduated with honors from the University of Michigan Medical School in 2000. He continued his training in Michigan and finished his residency in anesthesia in 2004. After residency he started a 5-year career in the US Navy. His first duty station was at Cherry Point Marine Corps Air Station. While at Cherry Point he received orders to deploy to Iraq with Combat Logistics Regiment 25 out of Camp Lejeune. He was in Iraq for 9 months from 2006 to 2007 where he worked as an anesthesiologist in a Surgical Shock Trauma Platoon at Al Taqqdum. After Iraq he was stationed at Naval Hospital Rota Spain where he was the Department Head of Anesthesia. After his Navy career he went back to University of Michigan where he finished a one-year fellowship in interventional pain management. He continues to practice pain management and regenerative medicine.
Dr. Roberto Lopinto
Dr. LoPinto is originally from New Jersey. He went to college at the University of Wisconsin for his undergrad. He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine from Columbia Institute of Chiropractic in New York City in 1976.
Dr. LoPinto is a noted writer and lecturer, lecturing on Chiropractic and Spine Health. He is an acknowledged authority who has previously practiced in the two largest chiropractic clinics in the country.
Dr. Lopinto is a registered medical examiner on the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners.
Dr. Rafael Codinach
Dr. Rafael A. Codinach was born in Havana Cuba and came to Miami FL. in 1962 at the age of 8 months with his parents and sister. He went to Miami Dade Community College for his undergraduate where he earned his A.A. degree and then to the University of South Alabama to continue his studies. He finished his B.A. in business at Life University. In 1996 he started chiropractic school at Sherman College of Chiropractic where he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. In his free time, he loves to spend time with family.
Dr. Codinach has 20 years of experience in chiropractic and personal injury. He also has also maintained a private family practice since 2001.
Dr. Codinach's favorite sport is baseball, he played in high school winning the state championship in 1978. In 1981 he played for Miami Dade Community College where they won the National Junior College World Series and named to the All-tournament team. After Miami Dade, he went to the University of South Alabama in Mobile AL. where he also played and being named All-Conference Team in 82 and 83. In 1983 Dr. Codinach was signed to a professional baseball contract with the Minnesota Twins minor league system where he played for 2 years. Dr. Codinach is also a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiujitsu where he has been training for 15 years and still going.
Dr. Codinach lives in Miami FL. with his wife, 3 dogs, a turtle, and 12 Koi fish in a pond. He has 4 children 3 girls and a boy that are now all adults.
Dr. William Seufert
Dr. Seufert is originally from New York. He went to college at the University of South Florida for his undergraduate school. He received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Seufert has a particular interest in the use of mild traction with patient care. In his free time he enjoys performing music and various sports.
Dr. Seufert has been practicing for 38 years with a special interest in chiropractic orthopedics. He is a member of the American College of Chiropractic Orthopedics.
Dr. Seufert not only helps patients with their pains. He is also a certified Scuba Rescue Diver and has two saves is his career. Dr. Seufert has been practicing for 38 years. The last 35 years have been in South Florida.
He has lived in Hollywood in the beach area for the past 25 years and enjoys all the sunshine, beaches, food and music it has to offer. He often enjoys singing with the local musicians and scuba diving off of the beautiful beaches.
Dr. Binyamin Sussman
Dr. Binyamin Sussman is a Floridian born and raised in North Miami Beach. He is a Life University (Marietta, Georgia) Alumnus. After graduating, he returned to his family chiropractor, completing his internship while earning board-certified status and his license in the summer of 2015.
Dr. Sussman is passionate about educating his community about the health benefits of chiropractic care, overcoming acquired deafness, neck, and back injuries from mountain bike and car accidents. He has been serving his community ever since and takes pride in treating those who have been injured with chiropractic care, striving to reproduce the incredible results he experienced.
Dr. Crystal Sale
Dr. Crystal Sale is originally from Pennsylvania. She graduated from the University of Maryland at College Park with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. She earned her Doctor of Chiropractic from Parker University. Prior to graduation, Dr. Sale also completed her certification in animal chiropractic. She moved to Florida in 2017 to be closer to family and has been enjoying the Florida sun since.
Dr. Lloyd Gomberg
Dr. Lloyd H. Gomberg was born in New York and moved to Boca Raton, Florida in 2001. He holds a Bachelors’ Degree in Political Science from New York University, as well as Masters’ Degree in Business Administration, and Exercise Physiology from Long Island University. In 1995, he started chiropractic school at the University of Bridgeport and earned his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree as well as a Masters’ Degree in Human Nutrition in 1999. Dr. Gomberg also holds Board certifications in Acupuncture and Clinical Nutrition and has over 20 years of experience in chiropractic and personal injury serving as an independent medical examiner. Dr. Gomberg is currently pursuing a degree in a combined ADN/BSN/FNP program. Known as the Quantum Doctor, Dr. Gomberg maintains a private practice in health/wellness/life coaching where he practices bioenergetic medicine, which consists of various metaphysical healing systems based on quantum physics and consciousness. He helps in the transformation of patient’s lives treating them as multifaceted beings, not only addressing the physical but by looking into the emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of their lives as it relates to dis-ease and ultimately their well-being. Dr. Gomberg has been involved in martial arts for over 40 years, studying in the Shaolin Temples in mainland China as well as Wing Chun Kung Fu in Hong Kong, and the United States. Dr. Gomberg lives in Boca Raton, Florida with his wife and 4 children.
Dr. Felipe Contro
Dr. Felipe Contro was born in São Paulo, Brazil, and moved to Florida in 1996. He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree and his Bachelor’s of Science in Human Biology at Logan College of Chiropractic in 2011. While in the outpatient clinic, Dr. Felipe Contro took the initiative to volunteer to treat athletes at the University of Missouri and at St. Patrick’s Rehabilitation Center. He earned his postgraduate certification as an Internal Health Specialist through the Loomis Institute and his Fascial Movement Taping (FMT I & FMT II) Certifications through Rocktape.
Today, Dr. Felipe Contro practices in Hollywood, FL, and his main Chiropractic techniques are Diversified, Activator, and Thompson which gives him a variety of ways to treat patients depending on their condition. His plans for the future are to be certified by the Academy Council of Chiropractic Pediatrics to serve his community better.
